Yeah so we come home from our trip to the big city and the phone/internets/television is out. Mediacomm says "Well, we'll try and be there by Monday I guess."
:beatstick:
Using my aircard now...No TV's...no phone....

Who is your provider? I've never heard of them....

We're stuck with Com(unist)cast.

Mediacom Cable Company..
Oddly I stopped by a Dish Network store on the way home today...looks like this is the final straw. The phone and internets dies a lot. No clue why. The lower end channels (2-10) are all a little fuzzy, but they are supposedly "like that".

I've been battling slow/no internets from ComCrapst or over 3 weeks. I have had 3 different cable modems installed and they still insist on the problem being my cable modem. The service techs conveniently cancelled 2 appts b/c of "bad" road conditions due to snow storms.

ATT U-Verse TV and wireless internets for me. Landline phones are dumb.

ISPs, cable companies, cellular companies all go in the same class as insurance companies, airlines, and package-delivery companies (eg UPS/FedEx/USPS).

That is, they all suck.

I can't get the U Verse thing from ATT here. I'm thinking about going back. I can get AT&T unlimited phone/DSL for $60.

Do you like it Corey? Currently, we are 4000 feet from getting it. I'm checking if my townhouse I'm looking at will be in reach of U-Verse.

I like it. It cheaper than Charter was and I get the wireless router and DVR. Neither of which I had with Charter. More channels too. Ive had it since July and no issues so far.
