This is my favorite budget brand tequila for making premium margaritas. Here it is $26.00 for the large bottle. Its smooth enough to shoot or drink straight over ice.

My margaritas recipe is:
Zapopan
La Belle Orange Liquor/cognac ( in place of tripple sec or whatever)
You favorite mix
a dash of Rose's lime juice

$8.99 - might hafta give it a test drive...

No f'n triple sec! :barf: Actually, why would you ruin tequila by mixing it? It takes mexican artisans years of skill and...

...and then some white guy takes regular well alcohol and adds flavor, the you have to mix it with more crap...

:jump:

EDIT: Forget what I said ^ up there - this is not the flavored vodka. Not comparing Z to anything, but it's between Cuervo gold and Sauza blanca...sort of like the 1800 they fill the real bottles up with at the bars during happy hour. Smooth enough to shoot! AMEN.

$8.99 at Walgreen's. Was the same at Fry's/Kroeger last week after the $9.99 Cuervo (fresh too) at Safeway hit and gained a dollar per week.

I wish I could drink beer - same price as soda almost!
