I'll explore just about anyplace though - I think it'd be fun to get a couple guys together and bomb around in the Mojave Desert for a week or so in the spring.

ya know, that wasn't a good thing to this thread for reasons that shall become clear I'm sure. Start a new thread if you want to ponder it.

I'd love to visit Scotland some day.... maybe. Perhaps a return to the Cape Breton Highlands (much closer to home and no plane fair). Wouldn't mind seeing what they've done to Lousiburg since I was last up that way too.

In response to the Palestinian issue. This is an area I actually know about as and something I am passionate about. Israel to me is a big bully picking on someone weaker than they are. When you put up walls, deprive people of the basic necessities of life, kill them, etc, what do you expect them to do? Obviously they're going to fight back. I'm not saying Palestinians are all innocent, but from what I've learned about waht Israel did to the Palestinians during the 1948 war, well that disgusts me. Truly. Funny how those entering that area during that time were escaping all the hate left over from Hitler's Germany, yet did almost the same things to the Palestinians as the Hitler did to the Jews. Again, not saying that the violence on the part of the Palestinians is right or justified, but I can understand why they'd resort to those tactics when left with no other choice. Israel should tear down those walls, get rid of those identity cards, and stop making settlements where they live and I'm sure there wouldnt' be that many problems

The problem is that it is ISRAELI territory. Why should they allow foreign terrorists to live amongst their people without trying to protect themselves? All you've shown here is that you really only know what your professors indoctrinated you with. A little basic research would disprove most of what you are blathering about.

Please STFU on all matters even remotely political.

Innsbruck is possibly the most beautiful place I have ever visited. But man, there is nothing to do there on a rainy Sunday...

Austria is by far one of my favorite countries. I can't tell you how many times we've been. There's never anything to do on a Sunday well unless you're a local, but never touristy stuff to do even worse I'm sure on a rainy day.

I'm not sure what I'll do when I move back to the states and I can go to a Walmart at 2am - or heck go anywhere on a Sunday.

Glenn

Austria was probably my favorite. Leave Bavaria via the Chiemsee (great boat rides there), hit Salzburg for a night or two, take the back roads to Innsbruck (lots of cool crystal shopping), then back via Garmisch. Some of the best sights I have ever seen, plus the roads are a blast to drive.

I think the only place I really want to visit before I die is Australia.

Why don;'t you actually take the time and look at research that does not have an Israeli bias. I have done my research on the topic and wrote a paper on it for school. On top of that, I participated in a protest. And actually, that land was originally a British Mandate, and the land was promised to the Arabs... I know what i am talking about this time.

These houses are within the borders of a sovereign nation, occupied by foreign invaders. That is where the discussion ends. The Isrealis have the right to do what they want with the lands inside their borders. The Palestinians have no claim to any of that land, regardless what they may claim.

The crap about raping and massacring is perhaps debatable, but in most cases, the people killed are throwing rocks at tanks.

The Palestinians, on the other hand, regularly blow up busses full of innocent people or randomly kill people in shopping malls. Not even comparable.
