I think that's right...I can't remember exactly but I think the following year they dropped it for Bright Silver.

I gotta get this wobble figured out on my POS. I rebuilt all the JJ, alignment is fine, just had the tires rebalanced, trackbar is good and replaced the bushing not long ago, hubs and balljoints are good too. I am thinking UCAs might need rebuilding or a new steering stabilizer. The POS wobbles no matter what if going over 40mph.

Mine wobbles at the same speeds. I just ignore it. I know it's out of balance tires.

my problems with the wobble

A) trackbar... 99 percent of the time for me. eaither it is lose on the end that is a PITA to get to, or the easy end which I am never that lucky

B) conrtol arms were loose, first time it was the lower, 2nd it was the upper

C) wrong size tire pressure in the left side

D) last time it was the tierod, twas bent ever so slightly

Why did I sell this? Oh yeah, crack.

I have a wicked wobble now, I cracked my steering stabilizer in half. Guess that was hiding the real problem, whatever that is. I've just been driving around with the passenger front tire at half the PSI as the driver side. I suspect TRE's are shot.

i got lucky, it only had 69,000 miles on it when i brought it home. passed emissions the other day no problem.

wish it got better than 8-10 MPG but oh well, i still drive it a few times a week. it's only money, right?

Seriously though, I've never really gotten into offroading. I just need a little ground clearance and traction (sometimes) to get to some of the camping and fishing spots I like to go to. I don't think I'll ever get into rock crawling.

I've had the silverado since Feb and it hasn't been down more than a dirtroad. It'll never see anything more than a forest service road. Good thing I got the Z71 pkg. Btw, I noticed when I had it up on a lift a few weeks ago that the gas tank skid and the front skid are plastic. Hardcore!!!

That would be correct. Lots of miles of suckage. (and slippage) I had them on the 2WD ZJ.... traction = fail.
