I can't say I have had any major issues with it. I think its gotten a bad rap.

Vista wouldn't even recognize a flash drive for me. From what I've read online in reviews (ex. CNET), that isn't that uncommon.

XP sometimes gives me the same problem... it's rare but something goes wrong and it wants a driver...

I think SP1 was supposed to help with that. I can't say I know from personal experience though. My flash drives worked without a SP. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I've heard about horror stories with SP1. BSOD, taking hours to install......WTF. Good job microcrap. I can update a router/switch/firewall in five minutes.
