Online retailer will sell accessories, protective gear from more than 500 manufacturers.

SEATTLE (AP) -- Online retailer Amazon.com Inc. said Monday it will begin selling motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle parts, accessories and protective gear.

Its online store will offer more than 300,000 products from more than 500 manufacturers, including Alpine Stars, Yamaha, Fox Racing and Harley-Davidson Inc. (HOG, Fortune 500)

Amazon (AMZN, Fortune 500) began offering automotive parts online last year.

I need to find a different place. My problem is there isn't really a lot of independents around here selling stuff. Columbus is 2 hours away, and has Iron Pony.

I do like J&P so get stuff from them from time to time
