I have setup an "Ad Block Detected" notice that will show below the navigation bar if Ad Block is detected for the user viewing the page. This is not targeted at JUOT regulars- I would hope most of you have created an exception for JUOT.
Even the last little traces of Google Adsense were removed this week- which was an occasional banner at the top right and in the archives.
The Express and Mobile styles have no ads at all.
The purpose is to try to get guests who may come to the site to turn off ad-block to allow the affiliate linking to work. Adblock blocks the affiliate links by default now, and has for some time.
