MURICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The numbers I read said it would cost Ford ~$1,500 to do the truck in Aluminum. Since they are all panels that would get replaced in a collision anyways, I can't see it costing a lot more.Really expensive.
500% markup on "rare" parts at the consumer endThe numbers I read said it would cost Ford ~$1,500 to do the truck in Aluminum. Since they are all panels that would get replaced in a collision anyways, I can't see it costing a lot more.
Me neither. Maybe a few decades ago, but Aluminum isn't exotic or hard to manufacture/work with these days. Big deal. My problem would be not being able to stick my magnetic beer coozie to the side of my truckThe numbers I read said it would cost Ford ~$1,500 to do the truck in Aluminum.
