It's summer and I likes making Sangria for folks when we have BBQs.

Sangria

1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup frozen lemonade
1/3 cup orange juice
1 bottle dry red wine
1/2 cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups club soda or ginger ale

In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together the brandy, lemon juice, lemonade, orange juice, red wine, triple sec, and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange and lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda just before serving.

No suggestions on wine labels? I've used Yellow Tail in the past and I'm wondering others that might add that extra goodness.

Don't make me use Thunderbird.

I gots an easy one. By cheap chit box Sangria then pour LaBelle orange cognac in it. Not much, usually a dab per glass, tastes great, little to no effort. :D

Not heard of Orange Cognac. That would be interesting to add to any Sangria. I shall add that to the list of new recipes =)
