The only problem? It's 1,400 light years away! So even if we could travel at the speed of light, it would take something like 40-50 generations of people to get there. :eek:

Yeah but they've had a BILLION extra years to figure out how to travel faster than the speed of light and hopefully completed a wormhole to Earth thousands of years ago.

We would weigh twice what we do on that planet. If there is life, I bet they are on average shorter than we are, with shorter average lifespans. They could really benefit from a wormhole to earth.

They have already been here. It was about 20000 years ago and they took one look and went "meh" and moved on to another planet
 
Fast forward to fantasy land - My greatest fear about contact with another world with life is biological. Remember what saved our a$$es at the end of the War of the Worlds movies? That could happen to us too.
