Here on JUOT if you enter :random: into a post, it will be replaced with a random smilie picked from one of the hundreds available on the forum.

Here is a test of 12 random smilies...

:dj: :bacon: :freeze:
:nobull: :rowboat: :deadhorse:
:devbug: :usflag: :tgif:

Note- The smilies never change once they have been inserted so each user will always see the same smilie. :)
