That's the ramp I had, I never had a problem with it but the contractor thought it was ugly and wanted to replace it. That deal fell through by the way but still waiting on a program from my sister's job that can (likely) expand my front door at least so I am more comfortable going out.
Van I also had, is piece of junk, can't really take it on the highway, leaks oil like crazy, has some electrical shorts, and otherwise is barely usable condition. I don't think the lift was ever installed correctly- it just stops at times halfway up/down... not the place you want to be on a 350lb wheelchair.
I will be happy to see it scrapped.
Waiting to see what will be done free of charge. We're still well short of suitable van.
