It's not a lie.... it was "developed for", which doesn't indicate it actually was used for....

This. At least that is the official claim by the people that sell it.

Like miwico says, the freeze dried ice cream mountain house makes is pretty good.

I have a pair of these and I love them. Velcro strap and all.



I have another pair of Vibram with the quick lace thing which I prefer over the stupid velcro bit.
