Premiered 27 years ago today...

One of the few shows you can watch that doesn't seem dated in anyway.

Although one wonders if Star Trek was created today would social networking be part of the future? In Trek people can make video calls and send emails more or less- but there is no Facebook/Twitter equivalent that we know of. While it might not be called Facebook can we really imagine a future without something like it? Are a billion+ people going to stop worrying about such things?

I've been watching tng on netflix lately. Crusher is an idiot.

And social networking is for tards.

Wesley grows into it in later seasons... Early on his was annoying- think that is what he was supposed to be.

Sheldon in Big Bang Theory called him the "Jar Jar Binks" of the Star Trek Universe. :jump:
