To me it just seems to be survival of the strongest. Whether the seeds get there by mail or carried by winds across oceans or on the backs of rats on cargo ships, in time all life will find its way across the planet. If a bird drops a seed from another continent on soil it's considered natural but if a human drops the seed all of a sudden it's an evasive species. Nature is a cruel hearted bitch. Species go extinct all the time- it's just the way the world works. Species adapt or they perish.

An invasive species is one that grows and causes a negative impact on its surrounding environment. Yes, it can be distributed by human or natural causes. But the concern is that we are exacerbating plant growth in incompatible regions. It's not so much the plants exist, it's that we are mindlessly contributing to the problem.

My economics teacher warned us about the b-people. This must be what he was talking about.

That's only Murka. Canada doesn't play like that.

Our bees seem to be doing well. We have a large mesquite that is blooming. There are so many bees in the tree that you can hear the tree from about 10' away. It is cool to sit under it and just listen to the hum.

Canada's immigration policy is stricter than the USA's immigration policy. Canada will permit SKILLED working immigrants access to their country and they are graded upon application and then throughout their entire Canadian employment duration as to whether or not they are permitted to stay and apply for permanent residence. The USA lets anyone in with a hand out begging for money.
