Dad picked this gem up for a decent price. It's in pretty good condition for being a 73 model.

He's got to find a gas tank. It's currently under the green. And yes that's a drum style wench :clapping:

What winch is that?
Closest I can get with google is a Hickey Sidewinder winch

It's got the 232 I6 4 speed. Everything works great other than a valve cover leak. The guy he got it from only used it for hunting. Minimal rust, no body damage other than a few plastic pieces like the tail light and finders.

Dude wanted a 4wheeler instead of his dad's jeep so he sold it.

I really hope to see my CJ move under its own power again. Dragged it out of its shelter this past weekend so I could replace said shelter. CJ back to sleep in storage. :(

nice, I'd never own one again, I had a 73 CJ5 with a 304 in it, open headers dumped out behind the front wheels, no front fenders, 33 swampers, locked up, daily driver for almost a year. I swapped in a granny gear T-18 after blowing up the t-15. it was ......fun. didn't have a working fuel gauge or odometer, I estimated my mileage and kept a 2.5 gallon fuel tank in the back.
