the knob is kinda touchy since it's a also four-way thing like an iPod wheel, but it has a remote so i mostly use that. it also has built in USB and will play WAV files as well as lossy MP3's. get an 8 gig thumb drive for $30 and it's more than enough music to get to work.

haven't tried the CD yet but the old Sony i had skipped something horrible in the truck.

I've looked at those too. There's a few 1.5 DIN one's that would fit nicely in the weird Chrysler slot the TJs have.

I like the ones with a flip-down face so debris does not enter teh CD slot.

What a waste of space. Receiver designers suck. No one would ever want to be able to read the FULL song name and see the time and time in the song at the same time. Instead lets put buttons big enough that even the guiness book of world records for sausage fingers can hit individually.

i agree, the Pioneer in my Wrangler is a flip-down face. this one should be better protected in the truck. may just leave a CD in it or put some tape over the slot.

I hate Clarion but it looks like a nice unit for a good price.
