In the 1tb and 2tb size range, what are the best options when weighing both value and performance? I'm contemplating using a Samsung 970 EVO 1tb as a boot drive and a 2tb Intel 660p as a secondary data drive. Are there any similarly priced options that are decidedly better?

An ssd WD blue is a good value for performance https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L6GF81L/?tag=joesultofftop-20 Depending on task most differences in speed would hardly be noticed imo. But again depending on task.

Now I'm thinking I should wait for the PCIe 4.0 drives..... imagine they're going to be pricey, but will certainly be the top performers. Probably still going with the 2tb 660p as a secondary drive.
