PGA pro golf balls.

So, a friend fo mines birthday is coming up, and he plays golf like i drink beer.


A while back a course pro gave him a set of Titleist ProV1x*s

I was like WTF is a prov1x* appearantly they are pro only balls.

Well im looking to find a box of them somewhere online and get them for his birthday. Any suggestions?

they sell them at lots of places
we carry them at the driving range/golfcourse that i work at

they are not "pro only" balls...no such animal. You can get them anywhere.

either one of yall notice the star at the end?

Titleist says they dont make such a ball for consumer use.


I can get a pack from the Country Club pro, but they wont come in until after his B/D.

yes, I did notice and yes you can buy Pro V1 * at the shops.

The Pro V1 Star has been out for over a year.

Titleist makes 7 types of Pro V1x the only one sold over the counter is labeled <Pro V1x - 332 >

There isn’t one Pro V1x or Pro V1 with a * in it that is approved by the USGA.

Go to your nearest Pro Golf or whatever and buy him a dozen. If he was good enough to get one of the other 6 X models that Titleist makes he would not have to pay for golf balls.
