I've owned 4 jap trucks in my youth.....loved them.

Never had a full size truck though....

I was just looking at those pics. It looks like it was oldman owned. If you are looking for something like that, it's probably a good old truck. They were very dated compared to Ford and Chevy, but they seemed to be built pretty HD.

It's definitely a better vehicle than an XJ. I wonder what gear ratio it has? Could be an issue with no OD unless it's for around town only. My dad had a 53 F100 (flat head three on the tree)that had 4.10s IIRC. It was tach'd out at like 55. Great truck, but he regeared it to 3.73s and it didn't see much hwy use. It had manual drum brakes so you didn't want to go too fast anyway.

I can't find much about the trans. I emailed the guy...we'll see.

I can't find much either. My best guess is NP435.
