The story being presented by MSNBC was that the crowd was cheering for Ryan instead of Romney. That is why they added the captions, to try to convince people of that. That was also a deliberate attempt to manipulate and change the truth. The video clearly showed the crowd cheering for Romney and him getting the crowd to cheer for Ryan as well.

Your inability to grasp this is unexpected.

omg, you socialist Obama sac rider you. It's a conspiracy and MSNBC lied. Their story had nothing to do with the fact his cheerleading generated no enthusiasm. It was all about that subtitle.

Now that I think about it, that subtitle thing is a pretty feeble attempt to take the attention away from Romneys fail at generating enthusiasm. But I guess you can't blame them, it works on so many here.

The truth is MSNBC is a liberal station and they wanted to hear Ryan. With subtitles I heard Ryan as well. If they subtitled it Romney I would have heard that.

Just as Fox News portrays Democrats as poorly as possible, MSNBC will do the same to Republicans.

Even in the CSPAN video I could hear both names. Romney looked like a geek trying to get a new chant going, I laughed.
