CV joints. Later ZJs or ones with the AWD transfercase got those.

I have U-joints. Which I've replaced several times.

K loves the ****ing thing. Not sure why....hell, I bought it for ME to drive...then one day she did and I was then driving the mother****ing Honduh.

I like my ZJ enough that I've stuck $3k into it in the last couple months. It runs great, transmission is good (I know... unicorn), and thanks to worn out coils it rides pretty nicely. I don't LOVE it though. Mainly because my cawk would be too big to fit in that V8 tailpipe.
