Ready to throw my HTC One X out the window part 2

wouldn't it work better if you could see your 3 important ones at once? That's the point of Android, ultimate customization so the phone fits what you want, not what will work with the phone :shush: Now if they could have a battery as good as Apple :owned:
Battery is the big reason I went with the Maxx. Sick of waiting on updates and may jump to Nexus next time though. Pending update also kept me from thinking about rooting, my only complaint is lag these days.

Moto just announced another big round of layoffs, not so sure about their future unless they were just massively bloated (likely).

why not root and whatever you want?
Time and lazy. No other complaints so I waited. Moto and VZW pulled a fast one and accidentally released JB on Christmas Eve. Mine started and failed the download and then they pulled it. Kept thinking they would formally release any day. If you add up all the time I've spent hitting the check for updates button I'd of had it rooted a long time ago jjj

I got it to DL the update. Now when I click on the downloaded update, I get a pop up "Verifying Package... Download Successful... Verifying update package..." There's a wheel that spins and spins. And there's also an OK button that, when tapped, sends the message away entirely.

Can't seem to get it to install.

It's probably going in the garbage later today. :heaqdpop:

Finally updated my Droid 2 & the wife's Droid Pro. RAZR Maxx HD for me, RAZR M for her. Both have 4.1.1 on them. So far no problems from either one and I'm loving the battery life in my Maxx HD. I was considering steering the wife to an iPhone because she likes plain & simple stuff but after hearing her friends constantly complaining about theirs and then her sister & BIL both switching to Galaxy S3s, she made it clear she did not want to switch.

my phone worked perfectly all day. I read and responded to emails, I made phone calls, I surfed JU, I read CNN.

Must SUCK TO NOT HAVE AN iPhone and have to deal with an inferior product.

Moto IS Google, I wouldn't worry about them too much ;)
