I got it to DL the update. Now when I click on the downloaded update, I get a pop up "Verifying Package... Download Successful... Verifying update package..." There's a wheel that spins and spins. And there's also an OK button that, when tapped, sends the message away entirely.

Can't seem to get it to install.

It's probably going in the garbage later today. :heaqdpop:

it should be a pretty big update, maybe let it go for 10 minutes before canceling? Again, I'm not a fan of HTC after the fiasco that became of the wife's Thunderbolt after the ICS update

Maxx updated to Jelly Bean- much smoother performance and lag gone. No real reason to factory reset or root now. Me likey my phone again.
