The report I saw said that the dog owners have voluntarily surrendered it to some home where it will be assessed over a couple of weeks and either returned to the owners or put down. It said that the owners had been burgled a couple of times and got the dog for their protection so it doesnt seem that they got it as a fashion accessory. If it is returned I sure hope that they fortify their boundaries so that it must remain on their property
